About me

I am a Chartered Clinical Psychologist with extensive experience working in NHS and private healthcare settings. I am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council and the British Psychological Society.

My approach is warm, empathic, non-judgemental and collaborative. I aim to provide a safe, comfortable, space in which we can discuss difficulties and think together about what psychological approaches might be most helpful for you.

As a clinical psychologist, I am trained in multiple therapeutic models. This means that I can offer evidence-informed support which is tailored to the individual needs and circumstances of children, young people, and adults

I specialise in working with children, young people, and families. I also have over 15 years' experience of offering psychological support to children and adults diagnosed on the autism spectrum (who may also have an associated learning disability). In terms of my experience, I have worked in NHS inpatient services, specialist community autism and learning disability teams, NHS intensive support teams for families whose home life was suffering due to the complex needs of young people diagnosed with autism who presented with behaviour that challenges. I have also worked in specialist educational and residential services for young people with autism.

In addition to this, in recent years I have worked in specialist fostering and residential care services for young people who are looked after, working as a Consultant Clinical Psychologist and regional clinical lead.

I hope you find this website is helpful. Please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions or to arrange an appointment.
